Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping & Order Processing
-
I take the utmost care in shipping original artworks, fine art prints, and greeting cards. I want your joyful, new artwork to reach you safely. I also reuse packaging as often as I can in an effort to reduce waste. Any order over $150 or containing original art will require a signature for delivery to prevent theft or loss.

Yes. International orders will ship via USPS First-Class Package International Service.
Every country is subject to its custom and duty laws and regulations, which may affect the arrival time of your items. Many countries charge value added taxes (VAT) or duty fees on internationally purchased merchandise. You, the buyer, are responsible for covering any duties and taxes incurred, due upon the receipt of your order. Duties and taxes are usually charged if the value of your items is over a certain threshold. It is the buyer’s responsibility to be aware of their resident country’s fee thresholds and taxes surrounding the purchase of international goods. I am not responsible for VAT charges or duty fees.

Absolutely! Please include the text for your note when you check out. I enjoy adding notes to gift orders!

I handle these on a case by case basis. Usually we can fix many issues with simple troubleshooting - bends in a print can be flattened or ironed out, for instance. When reaching out about a damaged order, please provide details and documentation of the damage. Collectors may be asked to file a claim with the shipping service.
-
If your package is marked “Delivered” and yet is nowhere to be found on your doorstep, please check your confirmation email to ensure that you input the correct shipping address. We are unable to replace any order for free if the shipping address is incorrect. This does happen occasionally, and it is not uncommon to have the package returned here to my home studio. If that is the case, we are more than happy to forward it to your correct address, though we ask that you pay for the postage.
If the address is correct and you believe the package to be lost or stolen, you must contact the shipping service personally. Unfortunately, I cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages, nor am I able to replace lost or stolen packages, especially original art.
Artwork
-
In general, when artwork is displayed on walls it is best to avoid direct and constant sunlight. Do not permanently store original artworks in a humid or hot environment such as basements or attics. All works of art are unique and should be handled with care.
-
Currently, we sell all artwork purchased online unframed. However, I have created a guide of my favorite frame suppliers for my artwork for your convenience.
If you live in the NYC area, you may visit me at in-person pop-ups and craft fairs to purchase framed artworks.
-
I retain all rights to all artwork I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold and commissioned original paintings, drawings, and digital illustrations. I retain the right to make reproductions of any and all artwork I create unless you, the collector, purchase the full or partial rights to the artwork (this is in addition to purchasing the original).
Collectors or buyers may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission.
If the artwork ends up being reproduced in a magazine or other media I only ask for credit.
When you purchase an original painting you, the collector, have the right to display the artwork in your home or business but the artwork may not be resold or reproduced without my written permission.
Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing full or partial rights to your painting. Some collectors choose to purchase my right to reproduce the artwork to ensure it will never become a print. I am totally happy to discuss that with you.
