Also known as the diamond sparrow, the Diamond Firetail Finch is endemic to eastern Australia and inhabit Eucalypt forest and open woodland near water, gardens and cultivated areas. The name firetail comes from its bright red tail feathers. Diamond Firetails generally eat ripe seeds and can be seen hopping around on the ground foraging for food. They occasionally eat insects and their larvae.

These bright, expressive bird illustration prints feature original digital drawings done with an iPad Pro using the Adobe Fresco. This collection of drawings have been featured by Adobe Fresco and Behance.
